First and foremost, Sylvie is an earnest student of yoga. She has practiced asana and meditation daily since she began teaching 5 years ago. Yoga facilitated her recovery from serious illness, and she understands through experience the transformative power of the practice.
Sylvie’s teaching is a curated embodiment of the teachings she has experienced to be the most beneficial. Her classes are best described as a hatha/vinyasa blend, but she also teaches restorative and yin. Sylvie is adept at adjusting classes to fit her student’s level, needs and goals. Her style is slow and conscious, with some longer strength building holds, creative sequencing, fun challenges, and pranayama or meditation. Her goal is to guide students to an experience of their Self, using her magic to foster the best in her students.
