My yoga mat is my constant reminder to stay playful. From a young age, movement was a powerful and raw form of self-expression for me. As a kid, I was always barefoot – dancing or running around our backyard forest. I loved the feeling of the ground directly beneath me. I think that’s why the pull to my mat is so strong: to feel grounded and connected. I want my students to experience that same feeling of ‘coming home’ when they step on their mat as I do. Together, let’s link breath with movement. My classes combine creative sequencing and playful poses that challenge the yogi to work hard, but not take themselves too seriously. I completed my 200-hour and 300-hour Yoga Teacher Trainings in the Bow Valley in 2018 and 2020 respectively, with local teachers Erin Evans and Lydia Zamorano. I am honoured and humbled to share with you this practice of yoga. Come flow with me.
