I remember spending a lot of my childhood dancing or running around outside in bare feet. I loved the feeling of the ground directly beneath me. Movement was a powerful and raw form of self-expression for me at a young age, and continues to be now. As an adult, I keep coming back to my mat to feel grounded and connected. I feel at home and in my happy place when I am creatively flowing on my mat. My teaching style reflects this. Spending a lot of time with young people as a full-time grade 2 teacher is a refreshing reminder for me to stay playful and laugh often. My classes infuse creative sequencing and playful poses that challenge the practitioner to work hard, but not take themselves too seriously. I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training course with Erin Evans through Bija Yoga School in April 2018. I am excited to be on this path and to share with you my passion for yoga. See you on the mat!
