Cindy loves to put her yoga teaching through her experienced lens as a kinesiologist, working in therapeutic injury and chronic pain rehabilitation for many years.
Cindy’s path to practicing and teaching yoga was sparked through taking yoga for scoliosis workshops with Senior Iyengar teacher and mentor, Elise Browning Miller. As a lifelong enthusiast of endurance sports, Cindy has learned through personal experience just how complementary yoga can be to our health, self-care, focus, wellbeing, and to our recreational and sports endeavours.
Cindy likes to share the ways of yoga with students to maintain and gain mobility, flexibility and strength for all of our pursuits while instilling a calm inner balance in her classes.
Her conviction is that yoga is for every BODY!
Cindy believes that knowledge of our own bodies and minds and their interconnectedness is powerful. Students learn specific yoga postures and forms, combined with breath and meditation as transformative means to learn about ourselves, our bodies and to extend health and longevity into our goals and pursuits.
Cindy’s background and training is a unique blend of modern and ancient teachings that she relays with enthusiasm to her students.
She’ll meet you on the mat!
