| For first timers and beginners. Learn the basic principles of the Ashtanga
practice. Sun Salutations and postures are broken down to emphasize proper alignment,
breath and bandha awareness in postures. |

One Ashtanga |

This class is an introduction into
the basics of Ashtanga yoga with emphasis on learning both standing and seated
postures using core strengthening techniques, breath & bandha control with
philosophy. |

| Mixed
Level Ashtanga |
| This class is for students who have
some experience with their breathing, postures and the dynamic flow of Ashtanga
Yoga. |

Level One Flow
This
class will progress through a creative series of postures to strengthen and open
the body. A bit more challenging than the beginner classes but if you are confident
with your body awareness and ability to know your limitations feel free to join
this class and give it a try. |

Slow
Flow*
This class will progress through a flowing series of postures
to strengthen and open the body. It will create lots of heat to detoxify, so bring
a towel! Open to beginners.
Restorative*
This
class will incorporate breath work, chanting and slow restorative postures to
bring balance and healing into the body and mind.

| Flow classes are based on
the Ashtanga Vinyasa system but may change some postures or sequencing. |

| Yin Class * |
| A gentle class for beginners or a restorative class for those with a
dedicated practice. This class works on opening the hips, back and shoulders through
long gentle holds. |

| Yin/Yang
Class |
| This class starts with a slow cooling yin
practice to open the body and prepare the mind. The last half of the class will
be a more dynamic yang practice to invigorate and strengthen the body. |
| |
| Hatha * |
| Hatha Yoga assists in balancing and calming the mind through controlled breathing,
relaxation and meditation. Asana (postures) will increase strength and vitality.

| Mysore |
|
This is the traditional style of practicing Ashtanga Yoga. It is an independant practice, meaning that the instructor is not verbally leading the class but is there for assistance with learning the sequence of postures, adjustments and deeping the practice. |
